A Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) explains things like what a health insurance plan covers, what it doesn’t cover, and what you share of costs will be. An SBC also shows estimated costs for sample medical events. The examples are meant to help you understand what you might pay, and compare that to other SBCs for the plans in which you are eligible to enroll in for medical coverage.
