A Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) explains things like what a health insurance plan covers, what it doesn’t cover, and what you share of costs will be. An SBC also shows estimated costs for sample medical events. The examples are meant to help you understand what you might pay, and compare that to other SBCs for the plans in which you are eligible to enroll in for medical coverage.

Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), you are entitled to medical coverage that is considered minimum essential, minimum value, and affordable. This means that you have the right to choose a healthcare plan that covers basic health care services for an amount you can afford out of each paycheck Albertsons Companies.

As a bargaining unit member, you can choose an affordable health care plan that offers basic health care coverage and more through a jointly administered trust fund. Please check with your labor relations manager or union representative for details on the plan(s) available or to enroll if you are not already covered by a plan through the union.

Because you meet the minimum criteria to enroll in the ACI Bronze Medical Plan, you can choose to enroll in the ACI Bronze Medical Plan.
