This post applies to associates eligible for Company benefit plans. Starting July 11, we are extending the new Redwood user interface enhancements in myACI to Benefits self-service.

What is Redwood?

Redwood is Oracle’s next-generation design and development platform that is being adopted across all Oracle Cloud Applications, ensuring modern, engaging experiences.

Key aspects of Redwood

  • Modern design: Redwood offers a fresh, visually appealing look and feel, making it easier to navigate and use Oracle applications.
  • Intelligent features: Redwood incorporates features like intelligent search, machine learning and personalization to enhance user experience.
  • Device compatibility: Redwood is designed to be adaptable to different devices, ensuring seamless usability on desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
  • Consistency: Redwood provides a consistent user experience across different Oracle applications, reducing the need to learn new interfaces.
  • Benefits: Redwood is designed to simplify day-to-day tasks, improve decision-making with actionable insights and enhance the user experience with a modern, intuitive interface.
  • Visualizations: Redwood leverages best-in-class visualizations to make it easier for users to interpret data and make informed decisions.

The look and feel and the application navigation will change.  Overall coloring using a different color pallet with a dark global header, slightly darker background and a shift from icons and tiles to tabs on main pages in Benefits self-service.

The Oracle Redwood theme is a user interface change only and does not impact performance of the system.

  • No changes to the underlying database.
  • No changes to the data within Benefits self-service.
  • No changes to your ability to perform tasks or functions within Benefits self-service.

How will Redwood impact associates?

With changes to the look and feel of Benefits self-service, associates eligible for Company benefit plans should familiarize themselves with the Benefits self-service screens and the application navigation. Many of our Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) have been updated with the new Redwood theme with step-by-step instructions to perform tasks in Benefits self-service or navigate the steps of submitting myACI tickets to apply for a leave of absence, report intermittent leave time off and return from a leave.
